Samsung A42 5G Review

Samsung Galaxy A42 is a quality device offering massive storage space, a powerful Li-ion battery with Quick Charging Technology, an on-screen fingerprint sensor and 5G network support. However, the 4GB RAM featured by the device and its hybrid SIM slot might not be convenient for all.

 

Samsung Galaxy A42 5G smartphone was launched on 2nd September 2020. The phone comes with a 6.60-inch touchscreen display. Samsung Galaxy A42 5G is powered by a 1.7GHz octa-core processor that features 2 cores clocked at 2.2GHz and 6 cores clocked at 1.8GHz. It comes with 4GB of RAM. The Samsung Galaxy A42 5G runs Android 10 and is powered by a 5000mAh battery. The Samsung Galaxy A42 5G supports proprietary fast charging.


Samsung might actually be planning to launch its first affordable 5G smartphone dubbed Galaxy A42 as an addition to its A-series line-up. All the reports so far claim that the device will have a great AMOLED Display which is pretty typical for a mid-range Samsung smartphone. Besides, the smartphone will reportedly have a decent battery and good cameras packed inside a familiar Samsung design.The latest smartphone, equipped with a 6.6-inch display, comes with a rear quad-camera setup offering a 48MP main camera, 8MP ultra wide lens, 5MP depth sensor and 5MP macro camera. It also has a 20MP selfie camera on the front.

You also get a 20MP snapper on the front, plus a mid-range Snapdragon 750G chipset and 4GB of RAM. Storage comes in at 128GB, and there’s also a microSD card slot.

The Samsung Galaxy A42 5G has an in-screen fingerprint scanner, and it comes in Prism Dot Black, Prism Dot White, and Prism Dot Grey shades.
