Xiaomi Mi 11 Review

Xiaomi Mi 11 smartphone was launched on 28th December 2020. The phone comes with a 6.81-inch touchscreen display with a resolution of 1440x3200 pixels at a pixel density of 515 pixels per inch (ppi) and an aspect ratio of 20:9. Xiaomi Mi 11 is powered by an octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 888 processor. It comes with 8GB of RAM. The Xiaomi Mi 11 runs Android 11 and is powered by a 4,600mAh non-removable battery. Xiaomi Mi 11 is a gamer's paradise with its Qualcomm Snapdragon 888 chipset, which offers HDR level graphics teamed with desktop level capabilities. Considering the camera options loaded within the device, vloggers will get to shoot multiple contents using a single smartphone. Moreover, Xiaomi ensures prolonged usage by offering a 4600mAh battery with 55W v4.0 Quick Charging and Wireless Charging technology. If the Mi 11 is a large phone, you’ve got the 6.81in display to blame – or thank.

Mi 11 has three storage versions: 8GB+128GB 3999 yuan, 8GB+256GB 4299 yuan, 12GB+256GB 4699 yuan, the price is exactly the same as the previous generation Mi 10. The following is our detailed test and experience of Mi 11.

Running Android 11 with Xiaomi’s MIUI 12, the software experience has the potential for greatness. Loads of apps are supported out of the box, and the UI looks sleek and clean, with Xiaomi having removed the overbearing third-party ads. That said, it’s buggy. We found our interface disappeared twice in our week with the phone, and we were left with a wallpaper alone until everything had a chance to un-bug-out. WhatsApp notifications also displayed with the wrong name linked to a message. The new Mi 11 utilizes frosted Gorilla Glass in its build, ensuring for a silky smooth feel that offers enough grip while retaining virtually no fingerprints. The display has a slight curve at the edges, which isn’t as abrupt as the one on the Mi 10-series but still makes for gesture-based navigation a bit more pleasing, especially when a case is involved.

XIAOMI MI 11 TOP SPECS

I have taken the liberty to take the USB cable and power adapter out from under the tray that holds the Xiaomi Mi 11 for this shot. Overall, the packaging is pretty simple, which has been a theme for all Xiaomi devices, even before some fruity brand decided to go green.
