Motorola Edge S is the latest flagship device from the brand. The smartphone flaunts a sharp and sleek design with a high performing spec sheet comprising 12GB RAM teamed with Qualcomm Snapdragon 888 chipset. The smartphone supports Dual SIM (Nano-SIM, dual stand-by) along with IP52 and splash-resistance. It runs on the Android 11 operating system and powered by Qualcomm SM8250-AC Snapdragon 870 5G Octa-core processor.
The mobile will ensure a faster and lag-free performance while watching videos, playing intense graphics games or browsing the web as it is said to be equipped with Octa core (2.84 GHz, Single core, Kryo 680 + 2.42 GHz, Tri core, Kryo 680 + 1.8 GHz, Quad core, Kryo 680) processor. In addition to this, the upcoming mobile phone will come with 8 GB, 8 GB of RAM so that you can switch between multiple apps without any interruptions. And, it might come with 128 GB of internal storage so that you would store all your songs, videos, games and more on the phone without worrying about space constraint.
Coming to the specifications, the Motorola Edge S comes with a 6.7-inch LCD screen with a resolution of 2520×1080 pixels and a refresh rate of 90Hz. It features support for HDR10 and it has a side-mounted fingerprint scanner. It runs on the Qualcomm Snapdragon 870 processor, which is the ultimate upgraded version of the Snapdragon 865 Plus SoC and has been made using the 7nm process. This processor is coupled with up to 8GB of RAM and up to 256GB of storage space. It comes with a 5,000mAh battery with support for 20W fast charge. The handset is likely to bear a 6.7-inch Full-HD+ (1080x2340 pixels) OLED screen with a refresh rate of 105Hz for smooth scrolling and fluidic animations. Aside from its in-display sensor, the Edge S is also expected to be the first smartphone to come equipped with Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 870 chipset, feature a 12GB RAM/256GB storage setup, and a 6.7-inch Full HD+ OLED screen with a refresh rate of 105Hz.
